Texas Comptroller's Office Seeks Input On Human Resource Management at Austin e-Texas Hearings

Issues affecting human resource management will be the focus of Texas Comptroller Carole Keeton Rylander's e-Texas public hearing in Austin Wednesday. The e-Texas human resource management task force hearing will be from 1 to 3 p.m. in Room E2.012 of the Capitol Extension.

Laura Ayoub Keith of El Paso, the e-Texas human resource management task force commissioner, will lead discussions on the state of the Texas workforce and innovative hiring and training programs.

Panelists include Kelli Dan of Austin, state classification officer at the State Auditor's Office; Reginald L. Barefield of San Antonio, vice president of corporate recruiting and staffing at USAA; and Diana L. Isabel of Austin, human resources director at the Texas Department of Transportation.

Comptroller Rylander's e-Texas citizen commission is charged with developing recommendations to help Texas state government meet the challenges of the Internet age.
